At 656 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11 miles west of Smoot, which is 12 miles southwest of Afton, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Smoot around 710 PM MDT. Other locations in the path of this storm include Mount Wagner and Corral Creek Guard Station.
