At 821 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 14 miles northwest of Blackfoot Reservoir to near Wayan to 14 miles southeast of Henry to 8 miles east of Montpelier. Movement was northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Salt River Pass around 835 PM MDT. Afton, Thayne, Freedom, Smoot, Grover, and Star Valley Rest Area around 840 PM MDT. Other locations in the path of these storms include Star Valley Ranch, Turnerville, Mount Wagner, Alpine and Stewart Peak.
