TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

At 702 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Chester Township, or 7 miles northeast of Wilmington, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Chester, Swarthmore, Arden, Nether Providence Township, Chester Township, Gibbstown, Beckett, Tinicum Township, Brookhaven, Ridley Park, Media, Upland, Eddystone, Marcus Hook, Parkside, Trainer, Springfield, Rose Valley, Ardentown, and Ardencroft. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 8. Interstate 95 in Delaware between mile markers 20 and 23. Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 11 and 16. Interstate 476 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 4.
