What the bulletin says to do

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

Bulletin details

At 850 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes were located along a line extending from near Princeton Wildlife Area to near Cordova, moving southeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. These dangerous storms will be near... Erie and Hillsdale around 855 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of these tornadic storms include Spring Hill. This also includes Big Bend Fish and Wildlife Area. This includes Interstate 88 between mile markers 4 and 19.
