At 1057 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Brimfield, or 13 miles west of Peoria, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This dangerous storm will be near... Peoria around 1110 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Peoria Heights, Norwood, Mossville, Kickapoo, Jubilee College State Park, and Alta. This also includes Jubilee College State Park and Rock Island Trail State Park. This includes the following highways... Interstate 474 between mile markers 0 and 8. Interstate 74 between mile markers 74 and 93.
