Bulletin details

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small hail and gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for western North Carolina. To report severe weather to the National Weather Service Greenville-Spartanburg, call toll free, 1, 800, 2 6 7, 8 1 0 1, or post on our Facebook page, or post it to X using hashtag nwsgsp. Your message should describe the event and the specific location where it occurred. Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for northern and central Buncombe County until 715 PM EDT.
