What the bulletin says to do

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris. Tornadoes are difficult to observe at night. Take cover now!

Bulletin details

At 918 PM MDT, a confirmed tornado was located 8 miles south of Durkee Lake, or 11 miles south of Faith, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Damaging tornado and baseball size hail. SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Northeastern Meade and West Central Ziebach Counties, just west of Highway 73 and south of Faith.
