At 826 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 5 miles southeast of Mosinee, or 14 miles north of Stevens Point, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. This tornado will be near... Mosinee around 830 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by the tornado include Rocky Corners, Knowlton, Dancy, Dewey Marsh Wildlife Area, Shantytown, North Star and Holt.
