* WHAT...Snow, blowing snow, and periods of wintry mix expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches expected. Ice accumulations of a trace to 0.05 inches possible. Wind gusts up to 30 mph possible. Blowing snow could reduce visibility to 1/2 mile or less at times. * WHERE...Central Brooks Range. * WHEN...From 4 AM Friday to 4 PM AKDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The worst conditions are expected near Atigun Pass. Elsewhere snow is initially expected above 2500 feet which will turn to rain as snow levels rise to near 4000 feet Friday. What snow does fall is expected to be wet and have difficulty blowing. Blowing snow is most likely above 4000 feet.
